another simple idea that John Sleigh uses to add involvement to his training programs

Overhead projector switch saver

Tape a card to the lens of the projector so that it is hinged.

Lift the card to show the slide, drop it to hide.

For PowerPoint projectors:

Use the PowerPoint shortcut key [B] to black out the screen or [W] to project a clear light - great for doing shadow puppets, too.
